Rajnath Singh on Rohingya refugees: 'Adopted humane approach but we are against illegal immigration'
He Informed That Government Has Also Allocated A Package Of Rs 2000 Crores For Rehabilitation Of Pakistan Occupied Jammu And Kashmir Migrants.
Commenting on Rohingya Muslim refugees, Union home minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said Centre has adopted a humane approach towards migrants and displaced people, but the government is strongly against illegal immigration.
Singh said the government allows refugees to stay in country on the basis of humanity, but it is strongly against illegal immigration. He said the government will take stern action if a person infringes geographical lines illegally.
He informed that government has also allocated a package of Rs 2000 crores for rehabilitation of Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir migrants.
He said the government has decided to give 3000 jobs to migrants from Kashmir valley, and Rs 1080 crores sanctioned to the state in this regard.
