The Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday addressed a press conference where it stressed on the growing fear in the country. AAP said that the fear is on the rise in last three years. AAP stated that writers and journalists are facing threats.
AAP said that Sanatan Bajrang Dal Hindu Raksha Samiti and Yuva Vahini are among the organisations which are putting threats to these people and police is only doing job of a spectator.
AAP leader Ashish Khetan said that he received a letter stating life threat on Friday. Khetan stated that he has already apprised Home Minister Rajnath Singh about it. Khetan said that he has written that this is not a personal issue.
Khetan further said that the people who are behind the murder of Dr Narendra Dabholkar have not been arrested yet. Khetan emphasised in the letter that Rajnath Singh should act in this matter to save democracy.
