The demonetisation of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started showing its repercussions.
Future group which owns Big Bazaar and other retail chains has claimed that it will not accept Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes after Tuesday midnight.
Indigo airlines has also added to the woes of people by declaring that it would not accept currency notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 starting midnight of November 9.
The announcement came after a surprise speech by PM Narendra Modi where he declared a massive revamp of the economy to flush out malpractices and money laundering.
