Right wing group Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is mulling for a dramatic makeover as they are planning to change their traditional khaki shorts with designer clothes.
The right-wing group will take its call over the issue in March at Pratinidhi Sabha in Rajasthan.
According to sources, the RSS are mulling over three colour options for the trousers including blue, grey and brown. They may rope in fashion designer for the makeover to match the next generation.
The plan is part to woo the youngsters towards the right wing.
The organisation has set up an informal committee for consultation with leaders and designers. The present dress code for RSS volunteers consists of a black cap, a full-sleeved white shirt, khaki shorts, a canvas belt and shoes.
The last change in the RSS’ dress code came about in 2010, when leather belts were replaced by canvas belts.
