The #Sandesh2Soldiers campaign is expected to generate increased interaction between the people and the Armed Forces. Since becoming Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has spent both Diwalis with the Armed Forces.Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put out a special message video ‘Sandesh for Soldiers’ appealing to people to dedicate this Diwali to the soldiers of nation.
In the video, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seen urging the citizens of India to remember the armed forces serving the country and send them letters and postcards through his app.The 3-minute video starts with a child who sends a ‘Thank You’ rocket along with a message for the forces. It also features a mother making ladoos and waiting for her son to join her on Diwali. The video beautifully evokes emotions of pride and gratitude for the armed forces.
