Shirish Kunder booked for 'objectionable' tweets against UP CM Yogi Adityanath
Shirish Kunder Had Tweeted Against Yogi Adityanath After He Was Appointed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Following BJP's Thumping Win In The Assembly Elections.
The Uttar Pradesh Police has filed an FIR against Bollywood filmmaker Shirish Kunder for his alleged remarks against newly-appointed Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
The FIR was registered at Lucknow's Hazratganj police station under the IT Act for his alleged objectionable tweets slamming Adityanath.
Kunder, on his official Twitter account wrote: "Hoping a goon will stop rioting once he's allowed to rule is like expecting a rapist to stop raping once he's allowed to rape."
He further tweeted: "Going by the logic of making a goon as CM so that he behaves, Dawood can be CBI director. And Mallya - RBI Governor."
Kunder, later deleted all the tweets to avoid controversy.
