Video | Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad refuses to apologise Air India staffer, demands to lift fly ban on him
He Alleged That The Staffer Had Misbehaved With Him And He Did Not Do Anything Wrong. He Said Without Any Probe, He Is Being Tried By The Media.
Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad on Thursday refused to apologise to the Air India staffer, saying that it was incorrect that there had any scuffle taken place over seat issue. He demanded that the fly ban must be lifted immediately as he was blacklisted by several airlines.
He alleged that the staffer had misbehaved with him and he did not do anything wrong. He said without any probe, he is being tried by the media.
The MP said he is apologising to Parliament if he has caused damage to the stature of the same, but not to the staffer of Air India.
Gaikwad alleged that the Air India staff pulled him with his collar. Gaikwad said he had only pushed to that staffer when he started misbehaving with him.
"What crime I have done? I have been tried by media without any investigation in the case," he said.Â
Gaikwad was blacklisted by several domestic airlines after he assaulted an Air India flight attendant with a sandal for being made to travel by economy class, instead of business. The incident, which occurred on March 23, caused a furore.Â
