MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan breaks his fast, says will make state land use advisory service for farmers' benefit
Chouhan Said The Government Would Make State Land Use Advisory Service So That Farmers Get Correct And Timely Information.
Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan called off his fast in Bhopal on Sunday. Senior leader Kailash Joshi offered him juice to break his fast.
Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar and national party general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya were present on the dais. The chief minister had observed indefinite fast from Saturday.
While addressing people, Chouhan said the government would make State Land Use Advisory Service so that farmers get correct and timely information.
Earlier in the day, he affirmed that he has always tried to do a lot for the farmers. He said, “farmers’ problem is ours. They are our own.”
On the other hand, Curfew was lifted on Saturday from Mandsaur city as the district, the epicentre of the farmers’ agitation in Madhya Pradesh, remained peaceful though the restrictions on assembly would remain in force.
