Singapore-bound Silk Air flight develops technical snag; returns to Hyderabad

A Singapore-bound flight of Silk Air, a regional wing of Singapore Airlines, today returned to Rajiv Gandhi International airport within two hours of taking off from here due to a technical snag, an airport official said.“Silk Air MI-473 Hyderabad-Singapore flight at 23.05 hrs (December 14) returned at 01.04 hrs (December 15) due to technical reasons. All the passengers were accommodated in Novotel Hotel,” the official told PTI.According to Silk Air’s official website, the status of the flight which was supposed to reach Singapore at 08.44 hrs shows “delayed”.Silk Air officials could not be reached for comments.
