Slaughterhouse crackdown in Bihar: Seven illegal butcher shops shut down in Rohtas
Following Uttar Pradesh’s Footsteps On Action Against Illegal Slaughterhouses In The State, The Bihar Government Had Sought Reports From District Magistrates On The Same On March 24.

Seven illegal slaughterhouses were sealed in Bihar’s Rohtas district on Saturday. The move comes after the order of the Patna High Court to seal all illegal slaughterhouses in Rohtas within 6 weeks.
Following Uttar Pradesh’s footsteps on action against illegal slaughterhouses in the state, the Bihar government had sought reports from District Magistrates on the same on March 24.
Minister of state for minority affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Friday had said no “pressure or strike” can save illegal slaughterhouses from being shut down in the country.
