Sonia Gandhi complains of uneasiness, rushed to Delhi from Shimla
Sonia Gandhi Was With Her Daughter Priyanka Gandhi Had Been To Chharabra Village, Shimla On Thursday. Both Of Them Were Staying At Hotel Wildflower Hall And Travelled By Road To Chharabra.
Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi was moved to Delhi on Thursday night, after she fell ill while staying in Shimla.
Sonia Gandhi, with her daughter Priyanka Gandhi had been to Chharabra village, Shimla on Thursday. Both of them were staying at Hotel Wildflower Hall and travelled by road to Chharabra.
Sonia returned to the hotel due to uneasiness after checking construction work of Priyanka’s cottage. Security agencies constantly contacted authorities of Indira Gandhi Medical College in Shimla and asked them to make emergency medical arrangements.
Senior medical superintendent of IGMC, Dr Ramesh Chand said around 11.45 pm, he was asked to arrange an ambulance.

“Since she (Sonia Gandhi) refused to get examined at Indira Gandhi Medical College and insisted on reaching Chandigarh, she was taken to Chandigarh late night,” sources told IANS.
Sonia and Priyanka Gandhi then travelled back to Chandigarh in their car. Dr. Chand along with his team were present in an ambulance till Chandigarh and stated that Sonia Gandhi was stable. After reaching Chandigarh, Sonia was taken to Delhi by a special airplane.
The cottage at Chharabra is near its completion and is located to President of India’s summer holiday camp. The cottage, which is over 3.5 bighas (a bigha is about 0.4 hectare), is situated at a altitude of more than 8,000 feet, surrounded by pine and cedar trees.
