Sri Lankan Navy on Saturday apprehended four Tamil Nadu fishermen and seized one boat near Delft Island. They have been taken to Kankesanthurai naval camp by Sri Lankan naval personnel.
Earlier, on Friday, Ten Tamil Nadu fishermen were arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy on the charge of fishing in the island's waters.
The 10 fishermen, including a juvenile, from Thideer Kuppam village in Nagapattinam district, were held on charges of poaching fish near Neduntheevu, Assistant Director of Fisheries Gangadharan said.
