An explosion was reported near BJP office in Srinagar’s Jawahar Nagar. No casualties have been reported so far.
Earlier, miscreants threw a petrol bomb on a police party at Dalgate area of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir on August 12 which in turn resulted in the injury of a civilian. Reports claimed that the explosion occurred on road.
"A petrol bomb was hurled towards a police party at Badyari Chowk in Dalgate area but it missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside," a police official said. A cab driver, identified as Imtiaz Ahmad was however injured in the explosion.
