Tamil Nadu: Palanisamy govt forms committee to study 7th Pay Commission recommendations

The Tamil Nadu government has formed a committee to for implementation of the 7th Pay Commission recommendations, the ruling AIADMK said on Wednesday.
The party said that chief minister Edappadi Palanisamy has appointed a five-member panel to study the recommendations.
The committee has been asked to submit its report by June 30, the party said.
The panel will also take stock of state's financial condition to take a decision on providing benefits of the new pay scale to the state government employees.
