Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday accepted cheque of Rs five crore for the flood victims from Gujarat government. former deputy chief minister and RJD leader took a dig at Nitish Kumar for accepting the donation from the Gujarat government.
Gujarat minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama handed over Rs 5 Cr cheque to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar as contribution into CM's relief fund.
In 2010, Nitish had refused to accept the same amount during Kosi floods from the then chief minister Narendra Modi over a controversial advertisement. BJP too had boasted it and published an advertisement in newspaper.
Taking a swipe at Nitish Kumar, former deputy chief minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said in a tweet that Bihar CM would have felt helpless and weak while accepting the donation.Â
