In a big breakthrough, terror group Hizbul Mujahideen’s 22-year-old commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani was on Friday killed in an encounter with the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir.Videos circulated on social platforms including WhatsApp and Facebook aimed at recruiting young Kashmiri men for terror featured Burhan Wani.An intelligence-led operation by security forces was carried out during which Burhan Wani was hunted down along with two other militants in south Kashmir, police said.Wani was one of the most wanted militants in Jammu and Kashmir. Burhan Wani was born to a wealthy family in Tral region in Kashmir and his father was a school principal. He joined the deadly terror group at the age of 15.
