The TRS Government’s Actions Led To A Delay In The Completion Of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project, The Main Opposition Congress In Telangana Said On Wednesday.
The TRS government’s actions led to a delay in the completion of Hyderabad metro rail project, the main opposition Congress in Telangana said on Wednesday.
State Congress president N Uttam Kumar Reddy said, “The project (metro route) is 72-km long. Not even an extra kilometre has been sanctioned by them (TRS government). Like Mohammed Bin Tughlak, they said there should be no metro (passing) in front of the Legislative Assembly and in Sultan Bazar.”
“Because of their actions, the project (its inauguration) stopped for three years. KCR (Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao) and KTR (state Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao) are responsible for the traffic problems being faced by Hyderabad people. But now they are trying to claim the credit for the project,” he added.
