Pro-Pakistan groups hack Twitter handles of Kiran Bedi, Anupam Kher, Ram Madhav
Twitter On Learning The Development Has Temporarily Suspended The Accounts Of The Four Noted Persons. Before The Account Was Suspended By Twitter, The Blue Tick From The Verified Handle Of Kher And Madhav Had Disappeared.
‘Pro-Pakistan’ Turkish cyber army ayyildiz tim hacked accounts of actor Anupam Kher, Economist Kaushik Basu, Rajya Sabha MP Swapan Dasgupta and BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav on Tuesday.
The hackers in few of the compromised account tweeted, “I love Pakistan.”
Twitter on learning the development has temporarily suspended the accounts of the four noted persons. Before the account was suspended by Twitter, the blue tick from the verified handle of Kher and Madhav had disappeared.
Kher informed the development on Facebook. The veteran actor on the social media wrote, “My twitter account has been hacked. Just got few calls from friends in India about it. I am in LA and it is 2am. Got a DM yesterday from Mr. Swapan Das Gupta’s account about a link. A first from him. So opened it. Have spoken to twitter already."
A pinned tweet on Dasgupta’s handle read, “Hello there! I want to introduce ourselves first. In 2002, the Republic of Turkey to protect it from cyber attacks and to combat terrorist organisations were founded. Turkey's first cyber army of. We have 300,000s (sic)."
The same group earlier this year had hacked India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Syed Akbaruddin.
