UP assembly election 2017: Nomination process for 73 seats begins

The nomination process for 73 seats in the first phase of assembly election in Uttar Pradesh will begin on Tuesday.
Sources said that the Election Commission has completed all the preparations in this regard. The last date of nomination is January 24.
About 2.59 crore voters from 15 district will exercise their franchise in the first phase. The polling will be held on February 11.

Total voters: 2,59,86,655
Male voters: 1,42,34,571
Female voters: 1,17,50,573
