UP CM Adityanath has proved election promises are not mere jumlas: Uddhav on crop loan waive off
Uddhav Termed The Decision As Matter Of Pride, Saying That Promises Made During Elections Were Fulfilled In First Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Meet, And They Were Not Merely Euphism (jumlas).
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath received praise from Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray who hailed the Uttar Pradesh government’s decision of crop loan waiver for farmers.
Uddhav termed the decision as matter of pride, saying that promises made during elections were fulfilled in first Uttar Pradesh cabinet meet, and they were not merely euphemism (jumlas).
He said promises in election manifesto are not only euphism and the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister has proved it.
Taking a dig at Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, Uddhav said that the latter should also learn from Yogi Adityanath.
On Tuesday, Keeping BJP's poll promise to small and marginal farmers, the Yogi Adityanath cabinet had decided to waive their crop loans up to Rs 1 lakh, totalling a staggering Rs 36,359 crore, at its very first meeting.
The move will benefit over 2.15 crore farmers, besides 7 lakh others who had secured loans which turned into non- performing assets (NPAs).
