Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav Today Met Two Sisters From Bulandshahr Who Had Written A Letter In Blood To Him After Failing To Get Justice In The Murder Of Their Mother.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today met two sisters from Bulandshahr who had written a letter in blood to him after failing to get justice in the murder of their mother.
The Chief Minister extended a financial assistance of Rs five lakh each to Latika (15) and her sister Tanya (11), and a job to their maternal uncle to ensure their upbringing, an official spokesman said here.
He directed Principal Secretary (Home) Debashish Panda and DGP Javeed Ahmad to ensure that the sisters get justice.
On June 14, the siblings’ mother, Anu Bansal, was allegedly burnt alive in front of them by her in-laws because she “failed to give them a son”.
Two months after her mother’s death, a desperate Latika wrote the letter in her blood to Yadav in the hope that it would prompt him to act.
