The UP Navnirman Sena Chief Had, However, Claimed That The Country-made Pistol Found On The Bus Was Meant To Be Used To Kill All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Leader And Member Of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi.
JNU president Kanhaiya Kumar has been in limelight from last few months. Some times for his jibe at ruling BJP-led NDA or hunger strike or life threats. In another case, a special cell of the Delhi Police apprehended Uttar Pradesh Navnirman Sena chief Amit Jani on Thursday night who had threatened to kill Kanhaiya Kumar.
Earlier, on April 14, the Delhi Police had recovered a bag full of weapons and a letter threatening JNU president and his fellow student was discovered in a DTC bus at the JNU campus.
The UP Navnirman Sena chief had, however, claimed that the country-made pistol found on the bus was meant to be used to kill All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen leader and Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi.
Earlier, FTII Pune received parcel containing bomb materials, letter threatening Kanhaiya Kumar.
