The Aligarh Muslim university, established in 1875 has enhanced the city's reputation as an important center of education in the country. However, the people of the city don't seem too impressed with the politicians. Dirt and mismanagement is too evident on the roads.
Aligarh will witness voting on February 11. The voters seem pretty upset with the politicians and their parties as they claim that the promises done on election time are easily forgotten.
Law and order, cleanliness and other basic facilities are major issues in the upcoming UP assembly polls in Aligarh. Further, even education is a major issue in these elections.The locals also crticised demonetisation as it affected small traders and the business of developing locks. Further, even big exporters and businessmen of the city are pretty disappointed with politicians.
