The UPSC Admit Card 2016 2016 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates can download their IAS Prelims admit card from the official website of the commission – upsconline.nic.in. The UPSC IAS Prelims examination will be held on August 7, 2016, while the Main examination is scheduled to take place on December 3, 2016.
The Civil Services Examination is held in three stages - (i) Civil Services (Prelim) Examination, (ii) Civil Services (Main) Examination and (iii) Personality Test (Interview). The Preliminary Examination contains two papers of objective type (multiple-choice questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks.Below are the steps to download the IAS Prelims 2016 admit card:
1. Visit the official website – www.upsconline.nic.in; 2. Go to the ‘What’s New’ section, click on the live link 'e-Admit Card - Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2016'; 3. Under 'To Download e-Admit Card' click on the hyper link; 4. The candidates will get two options - 'By Registration Id' or 'By Roll Number'; 5. Enter your details like roll number/registration id, date of birth etc. and submit; 6. The admit card would appear on your screen; 7. Check all the information. Contact the commission immediately in case of any discrepancy; 8. Take a print out for future use; 9. Make sure to carry the hall ticket to the examination centre
