UP: 6 dead after boat capsizes in Bahraich’s Saryu river; bodies recovered

Six people were killed including 2 children after a boat capsized in Saryu River in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich. The bodies of all the deceased have been recovered.
Earlier, 19 people were killed after a boat carrying 60 capsized in river Yamuna in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat on September 14.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also announced compensation of Rs 2 lakh each for kin of those dead in Baghpat incident.
"Death toll in Baghpat boat capsize rises to 19," Baghpat DM Bhawani Singh said.
