Uttarakhand State Government On Friday Banned Sale Of Liquor In Uttarkashi, Chamoli And Rudraprayag Districts From April 1 Due To Upcoming Chardham Yatra In The State.
Uttarakhand state government on Friday banned sale of liquor in Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts from April 1 due to upcoming Chardham Yatra in the state.
Nainital High Court had passed an order in this regard on 8 September last year. The Chardham Yatra is going to commence from April 28.
The registration for Chardham Yatra can be done from railway station in Haridwar, Deendayal parking in Haridwar, Rishikesh, Jankichatti, Gangotri, Guptkashi, Phata, Sonprayag, Kedarnath, Govindghat, Pandukeshwar, Uttarkashi.
The authorities have assured hassle-free Chardham Yatra in state.
