A Delhi Metro train’s AC panel caught fire while it was stationed at Patel Nagar Metro station in Delhi. Smoke was clearly seen coming out of the coach. The incident was reported at 4 PM on Line3/4 (Dwarka Sector-21 to Nodia City Centre/Vaishali). Â
The smoke was seen coming out from the last coach of the train. For precautionary measures, the coach was evacuated immediately. All passengers were deboarded at Rajendra Place Metro station.Â
The train was further withdrawn from the service and sent for investigation.Â
The train services on Line-3/4 were resumed as per normal schedule soon after.Â
