Weather Alert: Heavy rainfall likely to hit Arunachal Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Goa
The weather man has predicted heavy rainfall for the next 24 hours in several states, including Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya and Odisha among others.
According to the weather forecast, heavy rainfall is likely in many places in Arunachal Pradesh, a few places in Assam and Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar. Most places in coastal Karnataka, many places in Konkan and Goa, and interior Karnataka are likely to receive rainfall.

Isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh are also likely to receive rainfall. Rainfall is likely in a few places in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep and isolated places in Marathwada.
A spell of dry weather is predicted in Gujarat, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan.

The temperatures at four metropolitan cities in the next 24 hours:
Maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to settle at 32.4 degree Celsius and minimum at 22.6 degree Celsius. Kolkata may witness maximum temperature at 34.4 degree Celsius and minimum at 26.5 while Mumbai may witness maximum temperature at 32.0 degree Celsius and minimum of 26.0 degree Celsius, according to the weatherman.
