The long battle between Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav seems to have ended. UP CM Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday shared a picture of him, his father and wife Dimple on Facebook, suggesting the end of tussle in the father-son duo. Despite Samajwadi Party patron Mulayam Singh Yadav’s conspicuous absence from the launch party manifesto, Akhilesh Yadav seems to have been able to pacify his father after the event. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday launched party election manifesto at an event in Lucknow. While his wife Dimple Yadav was by his side, his father and party founder Mulayam was sulking at home. Senior party leader Azam Khan was sent to persuade Mulayam to come and attend the event but he failed in the attempt.
Immediately after the manifesto launch, Akhilesh and Dimple rushed to Mulayam’s residence and they seems to have worked out the difference or at least so it seems from the Facebook Photo.
Akhilesh Yadav defeated his father in power tusle for Samajwadi Party on January 16, when Election Commission gave the reigns of the party and symbol to current UP CM after he proved majority support from party’s MLAs and MPs.
