2-Year-Old Child Falls Into 26 Feet-Deep Borewell In Trichy, Rescue Operations Underway

Two-year-old kid, B Sujith Wilson fell into a 26 feet deep borewell at Nadukattupatti near Manapparai in Trichy on Friday. He fell into the borewell near his house at 5.30pm when he was playing. Nearly three hours after the incident a borewell robot' was brought to the spot to rescue the child.
"We are very hopeful that the baby will be rescued," TOI quoted Trichy collector S Sivarasu as saying. The child is being monitored through a camera and can be seen from the top. “The officials made the father of the boy and his uncle speak to him to instil confidence in the child,” according to the TOI report.
In an attempt to keep the child confident, officials on rescue duty made the father of the boy and his uncle speak to him.
