A GOT fan? Finland just opened an entire Games of Thrones-themed hotel
The Lapland Hotels' SnowVillage Located In Finland Has Collaborated With HBO Nordic To Come Up With Their Second Partnership To Turn Fantasy Into Reality With Their Icy Rooms Of GOT Key Characters.
Game of Thrones needs no mentioning when it comes to popular tv series. But, you are one of those avid fans who want to be literally in Game of Thrones, then Finland should be your next go-to destination. Because Finland has teamed up with HBO Nordic to present their second GoT themed hotel! The Lapland Hotels' SnowVillage located in Finland has collaborated with HBO Nordic to come up with their second partnership to turn fantasy into reality with their icy rooms of GOT key characters located 120 miles above the Arctic Circle.
Hyperbeast writes that this new GOT themed hotel like the first go-round hotel utilized over 45,000 cubic meters of snow (approximately 1,589,160 cubic feet) and 400,000 kilos (approximately 99,208 pounds) of natural ice in order to complete the design.
With detailed sculptures based on Game of Thrones the hotels have rooms that include a life-size Iron Throne with swords, the Night King, and a White Walker with glowing blue eyes. With temperatures as low as -5 degrees Celsius guests are recommended to limit the experience to a one-night stay before moving to one of the venue’s warmer cabin options.
