Yes, you read it right! The Oak Door Steakhouse at The Grand Hyatt, Tokyo is serving the world’s most expensive burger. The Golden Giant burger is the creation of US chef Patrick Shimada, priced at $US1, 000 or Rs 70,000.Business Insider reports that the Golden Giant burger is available at 100,000 JPY or one thousand dollars and was introduced in Tokyo off late to celebrate the reign of the new emperor. The burger weighs 3 kgs and measures 15cm in height. It is loaded with a one-kilo beef patty. The burger also contains ingredients like Japanese cheddar cheese and foie gras. Gold leaf dust is sprinkled on the bun and it comes along with a bottle of champagne. The base for the burger is a garlic saffron sauce, and it is then topped with veggies like tomato and lettuce. Also, in case you want to try this giant burger, do ensure that you reserve yours at least three days in advance.
