Aliya Shagieva, the youngest daughter of Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev had given birth to a fresh controversy after she had posted a photo of herself while breast feeding her new born. Aliya posted the picture back in april in which she has been seen dressed in underwear only. The controversial picture had sparked a lot many debate about public breastfeeding which is still considered a taboo in most parts of the world.

President Almazbek and wife Raisa were even offended with this kind of behaviour of their daughter.

Though Aliya had removed the picture after being accused of her wicked beahaviour, in a recent interview with BBC she broke her silence regarding the matter.

"This body I've been given is not vulgar. It is functional, its purpose is to fulfil the physiological needs of my baby, not to be sexualised," she was quoted while interacting with BBC Kyrgyz.

"They really didn't like it. And it is understandable because the younger generation is less conservative than their parents," she said.

"When I'm breastfeeding my child I feel like I'm giving him the best I can give. Taking care of my baby and attending to his needs is more important to me than what people say about me," Aliya added further.

However, MS Shagieva is well known for her active participation on social networking sites and have been seen posting a couple of beautiful pictures of herself along with husband and baby.
