Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Mohd Shahidul Haque On Friday Cleared Country’s Stand On Rohingyas. Haque Said That Problem Has Been Created In Myanmar And Solution Has To Be Found In Myanmar.
Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Mohd Shahidul Haque on Friday cleared country’s stand on Rohingyas. Haque said that problem has been created in Myanmar and solution has to be found in Myanmar.
"Our position is very clear, problem has been created in Myanmar and solution has to be found in Myanmar," said Bangladesh Foreign Secretary.
Haque said that they can help Myanmar government but solution can't be their stay in Bangladesh and they want them to go back as soon as possible.
"They have shown initial interest to take back their own residents. Modalities being worked out. We've given them written proposal of how they could take them back. A working group has been set up," said Haque.
Haque said that majority of refugees are Muslims but Hindu and Christians are also there.
