The Halcyon Gallery on London's pricey New Bond Street is home to Nobel Laureate Bob Dylan's new artworks under the name "The Beaten Path".
The popular American singer's new artworks is on exhibition at the Halcyon Gallery, London.
The show is one of the most extensive displays evermounted of his drawings, watercolors, acrylics and ironworks,reported Vanity Fair.
The works show America as Dylan has seen it on tour--images of quintessential Americana, at once iconic andquotidian. Lonely stretches of highway, bridges, ice-creamstores, diners, even Katz's Deli in Manhattan?they are asintimate as they are universal.
The 75-year-old singer has also penned an essay for theexhibition catalogue? his most extensive piece of prose sincethe publication of his memoir "Chronicles: Volume One" in 2004.
Dylan, as always somehow as coy as he issimplistic, writes that "the idea was to create pictures thatwould not be misinterpreted or misunderstood by me or anybodyelse." Dylan has been working on the pieces for abouttwo-and-a-half years, finishing them in the past few months
