As the cyclone Roanu made a landfall in Bangladesh, the weather department today withdrew all warnings of heavy rainfall and squall in West Bengal.“We have taken off cyclone warnings regarding heavy rainfall, squall, etc for West Bengal since it has already made a landfall in Bangladesh,” Met department Regional Director G C Debnath told PTI.He said they have also withdrawn the warning which asked fishermen not to venture into the sea.Earlier a warning was issued that heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in most places over coastal Gangetic West Bengal.
