A strong 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck off the southern Pacific coast of Mexico today, the US Geological Survey that monitors quakes worldwide reported.
The quake struck at 1051 GMT in the ocean 105 kilometers southwest of the coastal city of Manzanillo, and 641 kilometers west of Mexico City, the USGS reported. There were no immediate reports of damage.
