Fight between Tesla CEO Elan Musk and British caver Unsworth turns uglier
Tesla CEO Elon Musk faces legal action from a British cave diver who helped rescue 12 boys from a Thai cave as the verbal fight between the two gets uglier.
Vernon Unsworth, who helped the Thai Government in the rescue of 12 boys from the cave, has said that he would take legal action against Elon Musk for calling him a “Paedofile”.
The verbal fight between the two started when Unsworth called Musk as a publicity seeker and said that his offer of a submarine for rescue of the Thai boys soccer team was nothing but a ‘PR stunt’.
In retaliation, Musk started a tweeter war against the British caver, calling him a "Pedo" without providing any justification for his charge.
The 'Wild Boar' team were rescued last week by an international team of divers through a narrow network of twisting, flooded tunnels and Unsworth was part of the team that worked closely with the Thai navy seals.
Unsworth said Musk's prototype would have had 'absolutely no chance of working'. The submarine was about 5ft 6in long, rigid, so it wouldn’t have gone round corners or round any obstacles.
Musk responded by sending a series of tweets in which he pledged to produce videos proving the sub would have worked.
He further said, “Sorry pedo guy, you really did ask for it.”
He later deleted the tweets.
