French military helicopter crashes in Var region killing Five, cause unknown

Two Helicopters belonging to the French military have reportedly crashed in the South Eastern Var region on Friday.
As per eyewitness sources from the ground, the number of casualties is five.
Investigation has been ordered to assert the cause of the crash. A rescue operation was under way to find the sixth passenger after the crash about 50 kilometres (30 miles) northwest of Saint-Tropez,
The Var is bordered on the east by the department of Alpes-Maritimes; to the west by Bouches-du-Rhône to the north of the Verdon River by the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, and to the south by the Mediterranean Sea.
Var is known for the harbour of Toulon which is the main port of the French Navy; for its seaside resorts.
