A government resolution has been moved by the Nagaland Legislative Assembly on Saturday in order to drop the Indo-Myanmar border fencing project indelibly.
P London, the Minister for Health and Family Welfare, introduced the resolution and while requesting the Central Government to impress upon the Myanmar government to permanently drop the project of construction of a fence on the Indo-Myanmar border in Nagaland with a view to continue the cordial and fraternal relations among the Nagas living on both sides of the border."

Notably, during the ongoing session of the Assembly, members raised concern on the intension of the Myanmar government to put up a fence the International border atPangsha in Noklak sub-division of Tuensang district.
