The tension between North Korea and the United States has escalated to a new high on Monday with former alleging the latter of declaring a war against Pyongyang.
North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho told reporters in New York that US President Donald Trump has declared a war against DPRK.
He said North Korea reserves the right to respond to US threat and will shoot down its bombers even when they are not in Pyongyang’s airspace.
Yong-ho stressed the world “should clearly remember” that it was the United States and not North Korea who first declared war.
"In light of the declaration of war by Trump, all options will be on the operations table of the supreme leadership of the DPRK [North Korea]," he said while leaving the New York.
The US and North Korea have been engaged in an angry war of words with both countries threatening to destroy each other.

The North Korean Foreign Minister had addressed the UNGA session on Saturday. In response to his UN address, US President Donald Trump calling the North Korea’s supreme leader Kim Jong-un a “Little Rocket Man” said he “won’t be around much longer”.
“Just heard Foreign Minister of North Korea speak at U.N. If he echoes thoughts of Little Rocket Man, they won't be around much longer!,” Trump tweeted.
UN has approved new sanctions against North Korea after the latter continued to carry out nuclear and ballistic missile tests.
In its defence, North Korea says the nuclear capabilities are only the deterrents against outside threats.
