Pak suicide attack in military sports building kills three officers and injures seven; Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claims responsibility
According To The Statement Released By The Military's Media Wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), The Dastardly Incident Occurred In Swat District's Kabal Tehsil In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
A Suicide attack in a sports building of Pakistan Army’s northwest province killed three officers and injured seven. As per Pakistani media reports, the banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for the attack.
According to the statement released by the military's media wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the dastardly incident occurred in Swat district's Kabal Tehsil in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
The area has been cordoned and search operations is underway. All injured officials have been taken to Saidu Teaching Hospital in Mingora in Swat.
This is the second attack in a month and it is suspected that TTP will carry out more of such attacks.
The area of SWAT has been under Taliban between 2007 and 2009.
At least two militants were killed during a search operation in December last year. In October, one person was killed and two others injured when a remote-controlled bomb went off in Malam Jabba area.
