Pakistan Independence Day: PM Abbasi calls for constructive relations with all countries
Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Said That Pakistan Desires Positive And Constructive Relations With All Countries Of The World, Especially With Its Neighbours.
Pakistan is today celebrating its 70th independence day. Speaking on the occasion Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Pakistan desires positive and constructive relations with all countries of the world, especially with its neighbours on basis of sovereign equality in conformity with UN resolutions on the subject with a view to ensure durable peace in the region. Abbasi added, “The people of South Asia have suffered enormously in the last fifty years due to the festering conflicts. Until and unless those conflicts are resolved amicably people of region cannot achieve prosperity and progress.Â
Earlier, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa hoisted the largest national flag in the history of Pakistan at Wagah Border on Sunday.The flag, made entirely in Pakistan, was hoisted on a 400-feet pole at midnight. The size of the flag is 120 feet by 80 feet.
