South Korea's popular singer and actor T.O.P of band BIGBANG has been hospitalised due to an apparent drug overdose, his management agency reported on Tuesday.
According to YG Entertainment the 29-year-old rapper whose real name is Choi Seung Hyun was found unconscious and sent to an intensive care unit of a Seoul hospital.
The incident took place a day after he was indicted without detention on charges of smoking marijuana and transferred out of Gangnam Police Station, where he had been serving as a conscripted policeman.

T.O.P was accused of smokind banned substance four times in his home in Seoul last October, a few months before his mandatory military enlistment.
As per the reports, his military service is being put on hold as the court reaches a verdict on his charges. If sentenced to a jail term of 18 months or more, the Korean star will be required to re-enlist.
