Thailand's Pattani Was Hit By Bomb Blasts And Pattani Hospital Claimed That 52 People Were Injured In The Attack.
At least 52 people were injured when suspected insurgents in Thailand detonated car bombs in Pattani on Tuesday. Pattani is situated in the country’s southern region and has been plagued with insurgency. The latest attack struck the town of Pattani around 2 pm, with two bombs going off in quick succession and sent people running for their lives.
The deadly blasts took place outside a busy shopping center and ripped the building apart. Pattani hospital claimed that 52 people were injured in the attack.
However, no deaths have been reported thus far. Footage of the scene aired on Thai television stations showed a huge black plume of smoke rising skyward from the blackened building.

Muslim separatists have waged a bloody insurgency for years in the country’s three southernmost provinces and more than 6,500 people have been killed since 2004.
