UP: Muslim group in Bareilly offers Rs 10 lakh bounty for Fateh's beheading

A Muslim organisation in Bareilly has declared a bounty of Rs 10 lakh for anyone beheading Canadian Muslim activist Tarek Fateh for allegedly professing “un-Islamic” views in a TV programme.
The announcement was made by little known All-India Faizan-e-Madina Council on Friday. The organisation condemned Fateh for professing “un-Islamic” views on his show ‘Fateh ka Fatwa’ telecasted on a particular news channel and demanded a ban on his programme.
“Fateh is conspiring to disrupt harmony between Hindus and Muslims. He is an agent of our enemies. He must be stopped at any cost. Our organisation will pay Rs 10,00,786 to any person who will decapitate him,” the head of the council Moeen Siddique said.
Fateh’s programme is being funded by foreign enemies and the government must initiate an enquiry against him, he said. Fateh is a Canadian Muslim of Pakistani origin, who is widely known for his views against Islamic fundamentalism.
