Bajaj auto-company, which is based in Pune, has launched a new 100cc ‘Discover 100M’ motorcycle. The company has claimed to deliver a fuel economy of 84 km per litre. The bike will be available in Delhi at a price tag of Rs 45,996.
Bajaj Auto President (Motorcycle Business) K Srinivas claimed that company has not compromised on power to gain high mileage.
"Thanks to our patented twin-spark, 4-Valve engines we are able to power up the Mileage bikes, the Discover 100Mgives 9.3 PS power and yet delivers 84 km to the litre," he said.
The new bike will be available in five colours – Flame Red, Brilliant Blue, Midnight Black, Midnight Black and Midnight Black, the company said.
