Google Analytics Real-Time view is down from Wednesday world-wide

Google Analytics Real-Time view is down. Most users are not able to see websites live traffic from Wednesday. Google Analytics has not made any statements about it yet. 

Many webmasters have gone over to their Facebook accounts asking others if they are facing the same issue. They have gone over to Twitter and started to ask Google Analytics twitter about the downtime. 

We are working on a permanent resolution to this issue, which is expected to go live tomorrow. Apologies for the inconvenience.

However no one knows why Google Analytics Real-Time has been down for such a long time. While, it is working fine on some terminals, it shows the following error, "Resource is not available. Please try again later."

Update: If you see errors accessing realtime reports in GA, a temporary workaround is to clear cookies or use an incognito browser window.
