Gurugram:
Cracking hard on the eve-teasers in Gurugram, the police on Saturday night arrested 121 people at MG Road under its 'Operation Romeo Returns' programme.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Dharna Yadav told media that this operation of two hours was launched in light of recent increase in incidents of eve teasing in the city.
The operation was carried because girls feel insecure in night as Gurugram is having its own co-operate world, said Yadav, as quoted in media reports.
In the past, the police have launched several such operations to curb eve teasing.
On August 27, the city police had arrested 50 persons at the same location. Around 20 cops, dressed as civilians, undertook the operation.
