CBSE JEE Mains Result 2017 and Application Forms for JEE Advanced expected tomorrow

New Delhi:

JEE Mains Results 2017 are expected to be released  on Thursday at jeemain.nic.in. According to the reports it is said that after the JEE Mains results are declared the JEE Advanced Application for 2017 will be made available. In the official notification on jeeadv.nic.in states that the online Application Forms for JEE Advanced 2017 will be made available on the site  from April 28 till May 2. 

However there is no official notification about the result date. However the JEE Mains Exam which is one of the common entrance test for engineering colleges across the country and also the qualifier for JEE Advanced Examination. JEE Advanced 2017 examination is conducted by seven zonal IITs under the guidance of Joint Admissions Board, JAB.

The JEE Advanced 2017 examination will be conducted on May 21, 2017 this year. Candidates who qualify in the JEE Mains 2017 examination will be able to fill the application forms for the JEE Advanced.

The Joint Enterance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2017 is a national level exam that is conducted every year for admission into various undergraduate programmes in in IIT's located in Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi,Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mandi, Madras, Palakkad, Patna, Ropar, Roorkee, Tirupati,  Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) Varanasi and Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad for the academic session 2017.

Educational qualification for Joint Enterance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2017:

The aspirants should be among the top 2,20,000 (including all categories) by scoring positive marks in paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2017.

The percentages of various categories in Joint Enterance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2017 are:

OBC-NCL: 27 per cent

SC: 15 per cent

ST: 7.5 per cent

50.5 per cent is open for all

Moreover, a candidate can appear for JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
